We enjoyed healthy and incredibly nice breakfasts and brilliant views!
The hotel was a nice place for enjoying a great area, not far from many areas, especially Japantown, Korean food, the Richmond district, Pacific Heights and the Fillmore auditorium, and SF. Grocery stores. The rooms were bright and huge, had a shower, hair dryers and bathrobes. The location was marvellous for walking around a kawaii-cute mall. The downstairs bar was modern with some yummy food.

The location is awesome - right in the middle of Japantown and the Fillmore. The spa is awesome, most room packages include spa access, but you have to ask for a pass at registration, the baths are $15 without a pass. The spa is not attached to the hotel, but its just a 5 minute walk. Garage parking is available for $10 a day if you contact the hotel after you book. The soaking tubs in the room are very nice, but a bit small if you are tall.
We had a "Deluxe Tower Corner" room, which we thought would be a bit above street level. In fact, we got a 4th floor room which is the first level of guest rooms, and was pretty noisy. They didn't have any other rooms available. The room was very clean, but could have used some updating - for example the balcony doors were very old and hard to open/close.

The place was clean and delightful, it had extremely cordial and really kind staff on 2nd shift. The location was marvellous, just off a restaurant called Sweet Maple, lovely cafes and restaurants as well as shops and Japantown with all manner of interesting shops and easily accessible.

It was clean and in a nice area close to bus stop. Close to the opera house too. We went to the opera house so was great location for that. Enjoyed being in safe Japantown.
Views are not really city views but they do show lights in buildings. Parking at hotel was fine but wish they would have ask valet or hotel parking. I never used the car until I left the hotel to go home and it was in valet parking. They make an extra 30 dollars on me for no reason other than I did not know what to ask for. I will next trip I take. All in all a very nice trip.

Recommend it for couples seeking comfort
The lobby bar overlooking a Japanese garden was a fantastic surprise, great vibes with friendly staff pouring marvelous Santori whiskey. I enjoyed sipping coffee on my balcony, the view of the city didn't hurt either.
It was a bit pricey but still reasonable for what we got.

The hotel has a gorgeous ambiance and spacious rooms with nice views. Unfortunately, the management's response to billing issues was frustrating, and the restaurant options were limited. A solid stay but with some hiccups.

The japanese hotel design was a nice touch that distinguishes Hotel Kabuki from most other hotels. The service was very good.
Quite slow internet connection. The shower did not work on arrival, but was quickly fixed by the janitor.

The decor is beautifully fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great location in Japan town. Highly recommend. We would love to stay again. Staff extra friendly very helpful. Only let down is the dining room is closed on Sunday and Monday evening. On a lighter side of that there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed a restaurants. That the staff recommended and the food was fantastic.
The dining room closed for dinner on Sunday evening. Slamming doors from neighbors

The location was excellent. We were a short bus ride to Union Square and an easy walk to Van Ness and where a cable car line begins. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was quiet and the doorman and front desk staff were always welcoming, friendly, and courteous. The lounge in the hotel served drink specials and excellent Japanese food.
